Renewing Our Minds---Transformation



Hi Everyone,

I am learning so much being here! I have more about six or seven posts "in the wings" waiting to be typed about all that I am learning and all that God id teaching me. However, I probably won't have the chance to type it all tonight.

Tonight, one of the things that I wanted to share is the importance of renewing our minds, as Christ would have us to.

Romans 12:2 "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

2 Corinthians 10:5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."

Philippians 4:8 "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things."

What we think about is so important! Where our thoughts are focused is so critical! Are seeking to be transformed by the renewing of our minds through the Word washing them, or are we still letting our thoughts "run in the garbage dump" to speak? As we allow our minds to be renewed--we are transformed-transformed more and more into the image of Jesus Christ, our Beloved Savior!

How are we seeking to renew our minds from a PRACTICAL STANDPOINT?

Are we allowing God to do His work in and through us to transform us?
