It Was NOT Cheap.....

Hi Everyone,

Galatians1:3-5 "Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen."

1 Timothy 2:5-6 "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all men—the testimony given in its proper time."

Titus 2:11-14 "For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.'

I've been thinking about how the Christian life as a Believer should be lived ina sense of seriousness---regarding the fact that we must recognize that although Jesus' gift of salvation is free to us, IT WAS NOT CHEAP----It cost Jesus everything and yet He gave Himself for us willingly out of love for us. But how we live should reflect a life of seeking to obey and please Him, loving Him wholeheartedly in return!.

But I, nor any of us on earth have yet arrived! It is really gently convicting to me when I sin and realize that Christ died for "that." I don't have to keep choosing to sin and must remember that now sin does not have power over me----

Thank You, Jesus, Precious Savior, for the GIFT that cost You everything----at the greatest cost!
