So Now Are Muslims Going To Get Turned Off More From The Gospel Too??

Hi Everyone,

Ok, so there is this talk going around today of the "Rev." Terry Jones, the pastor of the 50-member Dove World Outreach Center in Gainesville, Florida. He and his so called "church" are planning to burn the Koran from 6-9 p.m. on September 11th----in protest of the extremist groups in the Muslim nations.

He is really going about this the wrong way. I wish these "groups" would stop doing dumb things without thinking. It could actually provoke more violence and hatred towards TRUE BELIEVERS world-wide, because they end up thinking all people that "claim to be Christians" think the same way and don't understand the difference between "wierd unbiblical practices" and those that desire that Muslims would genuinely be brought to a saving faith and trust in Jesus Christ!

And all possibilities of more violence aside, WHAT ABOUT THE PRECIOUS GOSPEL OF JESUS??? More Muslims are going to FIND MORE EXCUSES TO NOT WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH GOD'S PRECIOUS TRUTH...AND THAT IS SAD!!

What happened to 1 Peter 3:15,16?? But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander

I don't see gentleness and respect in this, but rather a desire to almost "get even" or something. I am not for the Koran or anything, but how sad!

Who are we to try to "limit the gospel" choosing who hears it???

Lord, thank you for the many Muslims that you have brought to Yourself....no matter what happens with this so called "pastor's decision," I pray that the precious gospel of Jesus would go forth into the Muslim World and NOT be hindered.....because You love them and want to draw them to the TRUTH....and please be with those that are suffering such great persecution on the behalf of YOUR NAME, because they NOW TRULY KNOW YOU!!!
